Microblading is one form of permanent makeup that consists of hair strokes created by a blade made of 14 tiny needles. Pigment is implanted into the skin to create the illusion of more hair in the brow area. Microblading is most ideal for clients with normal to dry skin, and a decent amount of brow hair that just needs more fullness. Not recommended for mature skin, oily skin, sun damaged skin or clients with little to no brow hair.
Combo Brows are a method that combines Microblading hair strokes with Powder Brow shading. This is the most requested form of permanent makeup for the eyebrows as it is the most customizable. Shading and hair strokes can be combined in many different ways to achieve any outcome! This method is usually best suited for dry, normal, or combo skin types.
Powder brows is a cosmetic semi permanent makeup technique designed to create eyebrows with soft powder effect, very similar to powder makeup. Powder Brows can look as natural or as filled in as you desire. This technique is most ideal on clients with little to no brow hair, oily skin, or very blonde hair (to prevent ashiness).

The treatment is considered semi-permanent and will fade over time. Touch-ups are recommended every 1-2 years to maintain shape, color, and detail. How often depends on a number of factors including:
Yes, after you've completed your initial session you will require one touch up session between 6-10 weeks. Please schedule this at the time of your initial session.
Following this appointment, you should only need a touch up once every 12-18 months.
While everyone has a different level of pain tolerance, nearly every client says they can't feel a thing during their session. I do my best to ensure that the process is as comfortable as possible. Before the Microblading begins, a prescription strength anesthetic (23% Lidocaine / 7% Tetracaine) is applied to the area to minimize discomfort, followed by a liquid anesthetic during the procedure. Some clients may feel a slight discomfort in some areas more than others, but it’s relatively pain free for most.
PLEASE NOTE: if you are a frequent smoker, have had caffeine before your appointment, or have your appointment during your menstrual cycle, the pain level could be intensified.
Immediately following your procedure, the tattooed area will appear to be darker and bolder in color and more sharply defined. This will last 3-4 days. Do not panic! It is normal. Swelling and redness is minimal with most clients, and will disappear within 24-48 hours, but will not prevent working or socializing. The treated area may feel a bit like a sunburn afterwards but there should only be minimal discomfort.
The complete healing process takes about 6-8 weeks, at which time the true color of the "tattoo" is evident. During this process, your brows will soften and lighten. Be patient, even if you think too much color has been lost, as your skin is still regenerating and naturally exfoliating. Wait at least 6 weeks to see the true color, as it seems to take on new strength, and it is only after 6 weeks that your touch-up/adjustment can be done. Keep in mind that microbladed brows healed up to 30% softer than the initial color.
Please note that final results can not be guaranteed as each skin type will hold pigment differently and break down at different rates. The tattooed hair strokes tend to have a more crisp look once healed on dry skin compared to more blurry strokes on combo or oily skin. We will re-evaluate how your skin has received the pigment at your touch-up appointment and make any changes necessary.
Healed results will vary with each individual client and using a pencil or powder may still be needed with Microblading alone. Adding shading for $50 is an option to achieve a more filled in look.
You must avoid heavy workouts for 7 days following your microblading appointment. Light exercising is allowed (no sweating), but you must cleanse the tattooed area as soon as you are done exercising. The salt in our sweat will fade the pigment very quickly and give poor results. This also increases your risk of infection.
*Wipe brows with a dry, clean tissue for entire first day to dry any excess lymph fluid.
*Wash morning and night for 7 days! (Only at night for really dry skin)
— Wash within 4 hours of getting their brows done. Make sure to wash outside the shower with cool water. Only wipe gently in the direction of hair growth, no circles or hard rubbing. Rinse with cool water, and pat dry with clean paper towel. I recommend looking in the mirror while washing so you can make sure to be EXTRA gentle.
*Keep dry (no shower water, sauna, hot tub, lake, ocean, AND sweat) until completely healed. Aka no scabbing or flaking left! Usually 10 days.
— Clients still need to keep dry in the shower... steamy hot showers will cause the pores to open and scabs soften, so to be cautious, no extra steamy hot showers!! Avoid the water, especially with shampoo and conditioner running down your face.
— No excessive sweating during healing time, so keep your workouts light!
*Do not pick, rub, or scratch scabs! Avoid sleeping on your face.
*Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks
*No anti aging or acne products on them ever!! This will cause fading very quickly. This is anything with chemical exfoliants such as Retinol, Glycolic Acid, Salicylic Acid, etc.
*No makeup, lotion, face wash on them until completely healed.Use it until it’s gone!
*Please consult a physician at the first sign of abnormal swelling or infection.
