Microchanneling is the first form of CIT proven to be safe on all skin types! This treatment is ideal for anyone looking to  address and improve the appearance of:

• Texture/dull skin
• Acne scars

The two treatments are very similar. They use the same basic principle to correct cosmetic concerns and improve the overall appearance of the skin. The biggest difference between micro-channeling and microneedling is the type of device used during treatment. The metal needles on most microneedling devices can tear the skin, especially in the hands of someone who isn’t properly trained. In contrast, Microchanneling needles create consistent, vertical microchannels to invigorate the skin with no actual damage. Patients experience less discomfort, inflammation, and downtime as a result.

• Pregnancy/Breastfeeding
• Patients on Accutane
• Active Herpes Simplex in the treatment area
• Any active inflammatory skin condition (such as eczema, psoriasis, infection, rash or any type of dermatitis at the treatment site – it may further aggravate the condition)
• Cancer in last 12 months
• Sunburn

Your skin will feel healthier immediately post-treatment, but you'll continue to see results as your skin goes through it's healing process and cellular turnover cycle.  We recommend completing 4-6  treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for maximum results.

There is a very wide range of normal reactions. Anything from little to no reaction, a light pink flush, or sometimes pinpoint bleeding is normal. Redness may last up to 12 hours for more sensitive skin types. The treated area may feel like a light sunburn for a few hours post-treatment. Remember, this is not your every day microneedling treatment. More extreme reactions do not necessarily correspond to more extreme results.

- Begin using your provided serums every morning and night starting 24 hours post treatment. 

- Keep workouts light and do not apply makeup for 24 hours.

- No direct sun exposure, active ingredients, or other skin treatments for 7 days post treatment. 

- Cleanse,  Step 1 Growth Factor Serum,   Step 2 Healing Accelerator Serum moisturize, and SPF (AM only) for 7 days.
