What is ProCell? And how do stem cells work when used as a part of your microchanneling treatment?
ProCell's Hair Restoration serum is packed full of powerful growth factors which stimulate weakening or dormant hair follicles to promote hair regrowth.
Microchanneling is the safest and most comfortable form of Microneedling on the market. This treatment creates microscopic perforations in the upper layers of the skin. The minor, controlled injury initiates a natural healing process that promotes platelet and epidermal growth factors through platelet activation and skin wound regeneration mechanisms, activation of stem cells in the hair follicle region, and overexpression of hair growth-related genes including VEGF, B catenin and WNT, among others.
Supplemented with ProCell's Hair Restoration Serum, the treatment area is flooded with additional bio-signals to enhance cell communication and signaling pathways.
Prior to the treatment, your provider will cleanse the treatment area, apply ProCell stem cell hair restoration serum directly onto your scalp and begin the treatment. Depending on how large the treatment area is, the length of the treatment can vary. Microchanneling is generally a quick and painless treatment — in most cases, it will take less than twenty minutes.
The amount of initial treatments needed will vary on a case-by-case basis, but typically 6-10 sessions are suggested to treat hair loss. Once your initial series is complete, it's recommended to return for one treatment every 3-6 months to preserve your new hair growth as best as possible!
Following your stem cell treatment, you might see some redness or swelling on the affected area of the scalp. There may also be a small amount of discomfort following the procedure. Stay out of direct sunlight, no swimming, sauna, or steam room for 7 days post treatment. For best results apply the stem cell growth factor hair serum 1x daily.
